We have built a powerful market reputation for buying, resulting from our pragmatic and professional transaction ethos. Within 2 years, Castelnau acquired £45m of individual properties composed of around 6,000 individual flats across 225 properties.

We pull on years of experience working within this very niche property sector and have established a process that focuses on building robust relationships with both residential developers who produce the freehold ground rents and a select few pension funds and individual investors.

We understand the needs of both the developers and the pension funds and communicate effectively with both, in line with their requirements. This has led to the development of countless valuable relationships with motivated developers and sellers with quality assets.

We also have a wealth of knowledge in identifying and acquiring freeholds that contain reversionary short leases. We have an in depth understanding of the valuation metrics and legislative processes that drive value in this type of property.
